KERRY RIBCHESTER

Kerry is a qualified dance lecturer and Hellerwork practitioner combining Structural Integration, Body Centered Psychotherapy, hands on myofacial tissue release, and movement education which she applies to teaching Afro- Cuban Dance and leading conferences in Body Confidence at work.

B.A.Ord. Dance, Post Grad' Laban Centre, Goldsmiths. 
Distinction in Movement Analysis. Awarded Lisa Ullman Travelling Scholarship to research Dance in Brazil for 14 months.

Studied with Juan de Dios Escenarte and Raices Profundas in Cuba for the last 20 years.Director of Key2Cuba ,The leading Salsa Holiday to Cuba, and has led over 100 trips to Cuba.

Qualified Hellerwork practitioner / Structural Integration. Studied BMC in Italy and Holland with Lenora Grubigner and Patricia Bardi for seven years. Qualified DES / UKA professional teacher status. She has lectured in Dance at Brunel and Limmerick universities. 

Winner of the top UK Salsa teacher in 2003 and at GBSEX 2008 and 2009. Director, producer and choreographer of award winning Key2Cuba videos with Bamboleo, Los Van Van , Alexander Abreu, Havana de Primera, and Maykel Blanco featuring Maykel Fonts .

Danced alongside Madonna in Evita. Cuban music consultant for the movie Street Dance 2. Taught Salsa 121 with Frank Skinner, Rula Lenska, and Kylie Minogue.

Kerry is the first foreigner to win a Lukas award in Cuba. Her work has been featured on BBC 1, BBC2 ,ITV, Channel 4, and has been featured in the Times, Telegraph,Guardian and Dancing Times. Evening Standard,

Kerry was the Cuban music and dance correspondent for the international Radio Show with Del Salero on Back2Back FM, and leads Master Workshop's twice a month at THE PLACE in London and at Salsa festivals around the U.K.
She has a Heller-Work practice and teaches 121 Salsa, in London and leads four holidays a year to Cuba with Key2Cuba. She also leads conferences in Body language and communication skills for corporate teams and was the Body Mind leader at Breakthrough Global for ten years. She now leads workshops for women , 'Body Confidence at work.'
