Sunday Carvery at The Angel of Bow
The Angel of Bow has introduced a carvery on a Sunday. It’s bringing a little bit of luxury to the East End. Each Sunday, our chefs prepare a mouthwatering selection of roasts, including succulent beef, juicy lamb, pork with crackling, and our delicious roast chicken.
Everything is accompanied by a diverse medley of seasonal vegetables such as peas Lyonnaise, French beans with toasted almonds, creamed spinach, and roasted carrots and parsnips in honey glaze.
We always have mashed potatoes, dauphinoise potatoes, and the ubiquitous roast potatoes, which are fluffy and crispy at the same time, plus Yorkshire pudding, which is homemade.
Our roast is cooked fresh on the day. These hearty meals are the perfect way to unwind and savour the flavours of London’s culinary heritage.
